Church Services

SUNDAYS AT ST. MICHAEL'S

Sunday Worship Services are 8am, 10am, and 5pm and are being held temporarily in Johnstone hall.  See below for the description of each service.

Our regularly scheduled Sunday Worship Services begin with an 8:00 a.m. spoken Rite II service.  After the service, there is coffee hour and fellowship time in the Parish Hall every Sunday.

The 10 a.m. worship service includes a dedicated and talented choir who inspire our congregation in worship.  For children 3-years-old through 12th grade, Sunday school begins in the church with the gathering.  Shortly after the beginning of the service, the children are led out to their own lessons and then join us for the prayers over the bread and wine and share in the sacred meal.  The Fourth Sunday of the month is an All Family Eucharist, which brings all members together for the entire worship experience. The sermon and Eucharistic prayer is designed on these Sundays to be accessible to children and those who are not as familiar with the language of the Episcopal Church.  After the service, there is coffee hour and fellowship time in the Parish Hall every Sunday.

The 5:00 p.m. evening worship service is contemplative in nature.  Recorded music is used to help create space for with the holy within and in the Word and presence of God in the Eucharist.  In place of a sermon, there is time for contemplative prayer.

Children are welcome and encouraged to come to any of the worship services.

Thursday Noon Eucharist

A worship service with Eucharist is offered for those of you looking for a midweek service.  We follow the lectionary of Holy Women Holy Men.  There is  time and space for contemplative prayer.
